The Arts Council of Winston-Salem & Forsyth County is hosting Women in the Arts, a Salem alumnae exhibition celebrating 250 years of Salem Academy and College’s commitment to educating and nurturing women as creatives. The exhibition will be on display in the Main Gallery of Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts in Winston-Salem from January 14–March 26, 2022.Â

—Fine Artist for 35 years working with silk-screen printing, oil pastels, collage, painting and fabric
–Graduate of Salem College, Winston-Salem, NC in 1972 BA; and Radford University, Radford VA MS in 1974
–Post Graduate work at the University of Georgia Studies Abroad Program in Cortona, Italy 1978
–Participant at the Mountain Lake Workshops sponsored by the VA TECH Foundation from 1979-1983
–Attended the Art Students League, in New York in 1983 to study oil painting with David Leffel and anatomy with Robert Beverly Hale.
–Travelled on painting trips from 1984-1989 to Bay Area CA, Greece, UK, Spain France and Italy
–From 1985 until 2010 travelled around the country exhibiting in Top Juried Art Festivals
