Over the years I have worked with the hand silkscreen printing, drawing media, quilting and collage. All the while I have continued to paint with acrylic, oils and watercolors. My works are included in these collections Ernst and Young, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Duke, Princeton, UNC, UVA, IBM, Texaco, AT&T, Time Warner, CSX, Verizon and the US State Dept. among others.

9 Patch 2 Inch Squares

I  have taken a break from this piece over the summer.  I am designing as I go.
Today I went back to it and have started cutting some new 2 inch squares from my scraps.
I am committed to creating scrappy quilts and I like to get as
many different patterns of fabric as I can which makes for very fussy cutting.
Seems that I am working with the interplay
of dark and light and a 9 patch cross unit.  I can not plan ahead not in my DNA.

Here is the new square I made yesterday

  1. I cannot wait to see the finished product. Many moons ago you were my Art History teacher at VWCC. I am glad I found you again. I love your works!
